In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Adrianne Simeone organized a drive to "promote the need to support families". She collected backpacks and items to be put inside to be given to children and teens as "comfort packs". Items such as underwear, pajamas, t-shirts, socks and other things just for them will be distributed by HELPIS to those in need.
These generous donations will be given to teens living in group homes, foster youth in emergency situations, and homeless youth in shelters.
