About Our Founder, Joyce Deliyiannis

 

One morning, not too long ago, Mrs. D came up with an idea: to help people who had become unemployed due to the economic crisis by giving them free haircuts. So Mrs. D did what she does best and put her plan into action. The response from her clients, the salon, the mall, the town, the state and, apparently, the country has been positive and overwhelming.

 

This one simple act of giving has taken off, inspiring others to also give back. Our mom has always been a shining example for others; an innovator, a leader, a true inspiration. She has accomplished so much in her life and she has done it all simply by being herself. She didn’t start this for praise or attention or fame, but for love of others. She is the smartest, humblest and most generous person we know. She is a success without even trying. She is the best. We love her and are so proud!
